Pilates

At Pure Symmetry we offer both Matwork and Reformer Pilates in our tranquil studio. We run small to medium class sizes which ensures you get individual attention and technique adjustments throughout the class when needed. Pilates is fantastic for activating and strengthening the deep stabilising muscles of the body which improves posture and strength and helps to reduce pain and injury. Pilates also requires concentration which makes it also very good for stress reduction as well.  Classes are suitable for men and women of all abilities, different levels of each exercise are offered so that you can work to your ability.

Ox Gen Breathwork

Ox Gen Breathwork can be delivered as 1:1 or in a group setting and is a stand alone, complete, holistic therapy practice that combines various styles of ancient and modern breathwork, and combines the practice with frequency, sound and colour. These frequencies align with emotions on both a cellular and celestial level, thus assisting in the release of trauma, processing and accessing of memory (both cellular and stored) and regulating the nervous system to a natural state of being – peace.

Our timetable offers Ox Gen Breathwork in two main styles;

Ox Gen Hypoxic – This style involves controlled breath retention or holding of the breath with the intention of inducing a state of hypoxia or controlled intermittent oxygen deprivation. There are many different types of hypoxic breathing techniques such as box breathing and 4-7-8 breathing.

This style increases oxygen intake and does not include breath holds. Ox Gen Sacred breathwork can require a bigger physical input than other techniques to sustain the desired breathing pattern. This style is commonly used to facilitate emotional release, to guide participants to explore inwardly and to induce relaxation.
